Castiglion del Bosco

W&L hosted a three-day destination celebration at Castiglion del Bosco in the heart of the Val d’Orcia UNESCO World Heritage region of southern Tuscany. Having already completed their legal marriage in Indonesia, the focus was on a series of celebrations with family and close friends and with no formal ceremony.

The weekend opened with a fun Italian market–style welcome evening, featuring traditional food stalls for aperitivo and stalls creating bespoke gifts such as personalised sunglasses. A colourful Tuscan dinner followed, bringing the first evening to a close with a traditional Italian millefoglie “thousand layers” wedding cake.

The second evening marked the formal wedding gala dinner, held within the medieval ruins of the estate. The dinner concluded with a performance by Leona Lewis, followed by an after-party led by DJ duo The Cheat Codes. The final night took place in the Borgo, where a Tuscan farewell street party and dinner saw the celebrations continue late into the evening.
